Bokab402 gliders can synthesize blocks though, so technically they are most useful.

Blockpadding will probably turn your symmetry into a troll symmetry pretty quickly.

“This is the last time I will log onto this website. I don't have it in my Google favorites links, but have accessed it through Life.wiki. Now I will not access it again.
All the pics have disappeared. Nothing but Golly gibberish. I was NOT encountering any pics, just the useless gibberish. I tried the BLOCK as a test -and confirmed that this website is now useless to me.
If you wish to communicate with me on this, you have my eMail address posted here. Both this and Life.wiki have been letting me down right & left.“
My response: What you do is you paste an RLE into golly. Then you look at it. Also, you can show it in the viewer.

As I have suggested before, I think Paul's problems viewing the patterns on Catagolue and LifeWiki come from the fact that LifeViewer is written in HTML5, which some browsers (Internet Explorer 6) don't support.

I think that once an unofficial symmetry overtakes b3s23/C1, it becomes a troll symmetry.
