I wonder now if SNACKER is a better name than the one I gave it - Motormouth Reporter. I'll explain.

At the time I was getting increasingly exasperated at reporters yapping away on ABC and not really saying anything. Miss the first 1-2 sentences and you will not know if anybody had been killed. The last straw came some years ago,on one 8-16 when the anchorman kept going back to the weatherman and the latter kept saying everything all over again. After 9 times, I just turned the set off and never watched the news again. I've lastingly ran out of patience.

The Jolson is well-named BUT calling the Snacker the Motormouth Reporter is to me, valid.
